Instagram audit tool
One handle in, one report out: what the account's engagement actually is, how often it publishes, which format is carrying it, and whether the link in the bio still works.
What the report tells you
- Engagement rate, measured on the most recent posts and compared against what accounts of that size normally see. Bigger accounts always score lower; the comparison is what makes the number mean anything.
- Posting cadence. Twelve posts covering eight days is a different account from twelve posts covering two years, even when everything else matches.
- Which format works. Photos, videos and carousels are broken out separately. It is common for one of the three to be doing all the work, and for the account owner not to know which.
- Best and worst recent post, so you can go and look at what the difference actually was.
- Likes per comment. A very high ratio means people tap and move on; comments are the harder currency and the one Instagram appears to weigh more.
- The bio link, actually requested to see if it still answers.
What it cannot tell you
Reach, impressions and saves are private: only the account owner sees them, inside the app. Anything on the open web that claims to show you another account's reach is guessing. This report is built from what is genuinely public, which is the posts and the numbers under them, and it says so rather than padding the page with invented metrics.
It also reads the most recent twelve posts, because that is what Instagram publishes. For an account that posts daily that is a fortnight; for one that posts monthly it is a year. The report tells you which case you are in.
Se ti serve solo un pezzo
Questa pagina li mette tutti insieme. Se cerchi una cosa sola: the engagement rate on its own, whether the audience looks bought, whether the recent posts really dropped, which hours worked, or how it stacks up against another account.
Questions
Does it work on private accounts?
No, and nothing else does either. Private posts are not public, so there is nothing to measure. The follower and post counts still show, because those stay public.
Is my account penalised for a low score?
There is no score being sent anywhere. This is arithmetic on public numbers, done in your browser session and not stored.
Why does my rate look worse than a smaller account's?
Because that is how it works. Engagement rate falls as accounts grow, on every platform. Compare yourself with the band for your size, and with your own number last month, not with someone ten times smaller.
